Located on the same ground the villa and the adjacent scuola and granaio provide unique settings for a magic wedding in Italy. The villa and the adjacent residences can sleep a total of 40 people and must be booked together. The villa, with its a romantic chapel, dates back to the 17th century and it has been home to historical figures,film producers and writers who have found great inspiration during their stay here. The villa is ideally located in the Tuscan countryside and at less than 30 minutes drive from the beautiful and ancient towns of Certaldo, San Gimignano and Volterra. Civil weddings can take place at the local town hall, which is beautiful and historical. Catholic weddings are available at the villa on request only, and it is the district curia who makes the final decision on whether or not a wedding for non residents is allwed. Protestant weddings and other types of weddings can be arranged at the villa either in the romantic chapel or at one of the open -air areas. the chapel accommodates a maximum of 20 people, however its doors open onto thegarden and extra chairs can be placed just outside the chapel. the wedding reception can take place indoors or at the open air, and there are different areas available such as the front garden of the villa, and the pool area which boasts beautiful views of the countryside. Its rustic, yet elegant and romantic settings are the ideal frame for unforgettable wedding ceremonies and receptions in Tuscany. Its large and open-air garden, the views of the countryside, and its indoors salon and rooms make it an ideal venue for small and large weddings. We suggest this venue for a maximum of 90 people, as this is the indoor capacity for a seat down meal in the event of rain or bed weather. Another point to bear in mind is that unlike most self-catering villas which can only be rented from Saturday to Saturday, this beautiful villa can be rented through We Do Weddings by A&J from Tuesday to Tuesday allowing you to hold your wedding in Italy on a Saturday on a Sunday or any other day of the week. This makes it the ideal venue for those guests who are only able to fly out for a weekend or a short break. From the year 2012, in low and medium season the villa can also be rented for a minimum of 2 nights
