.Catholic weddings can only take place at consecrated churches or chapels.
.Not all churches allow wedding for non-Italian citizens, and this is why you are not able to have a catholic wedding everywhere in Italy. This is a decision which can only be made by the local district Curia, therefore please note that at times the parish priest changes and the district Curia may refuses to allow weddings at particular churches.
.Each church has is own rules and regulations, and this mean that you can only get married at specific days and time. If you have special request We Do Weddings by A&J will make an enquiry to the parish priest.
.Some churches are able to provide an English speaking priest, and some churches can only provide an Italian speaking priest and an English speaking Interpreter. This is subject to the church and who is available to celebrate your ceremony. The English speaking priest could be English, American, Eastern European, Indian or of other nationality.
.Churches are usually able to confirm a wedding well in advance, however this is always on request.
.Please note that it is very important that before you book your Catholic wedding you speak to your parish priest about it as you will need his written permission.
